A team of teachers, led by science teacher Jatin Bora, has expressed immense joy at the success of the meritorious student who participated in this educational journey. The director and principal of the school are Ratul Bora and Priyanka Bora, respectively.
It is worth noting that Jonakjyoti Bordoloi is the only student from Assam to secure this opportunity to visit NASA. Speaking to the media, the student’s mentor and science teacher, Jatin Bora, shared that Jonakjyoti achieved this feat after appearing in several competitive examinations.
By achieving success at various levels of the International Space Science Competition (ISSC 2026), Jonakjyoti Bordoloi won a trip to visit NASA and earned a rare opportunity to meet renowned astronaut Dr. Don Thomas. Along with this student from Kaliabor, a total of 17 students from across India will be participating in this journey.
