Thailand Open Badminton: P.V. Sindhu and Lakshya in Quarter-finals

Maintaining their winning momentum, India’s P.V. Sindhu and Lakshya Sen have entered the quarter-finals of the Thailand Open Super 500 badminton tournament.

In the women’s singles pre-quarter-finals, two-time Olympic medalist Sindhu defeated Denmark’s Amalie Schulz with a score of 21-13, 21-15. Sindhu secured the result in just 28 minutes of play. In the quarter-finals, Sindhu will face Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi.

In the men’s pre-quarter-finals, Lakshya defeated China’s Lu Guangzu (referred to as Yu Juran Chen in the text) 21-12, 21-13 after a 39-minute battle.

Additionally, the pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty entered the quarter-finals of the men’s doubles. The Indian duo defeated Malaysia’s Bryan Jeremy and Muhammad Haikal with a score of 21-12, 21-19.
