Riya Deuri Wins Gold, Eyes Brazil-bound World University Combat Games

Riya Deuri, a student at Krishnakanta Handique Vishwavidyalay who won a gold medal at the All India Inter-University Ju-Jitsu Championship, was felicitated by the university for her achievement.
In a ceremony organized for this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Rajendra prasad Das, extended his congratulations. The Registrar of the university, Pranav Saikia, along with faculty members Blbinder Singh and Miki singh , were also present to honor him.
It is noteworthy that Riya won the gold medal in the 52 kg category at the championship held in Bhopal. Following this success, Riya has now earned the opportunity to represent India at the World University championship in Combat Games (Ju-Jitsu World Cup), which will be held in Brazil starting from June 8.
