Ritesh Sharma, a son of Assam, has won a bronze medal in the 10-meter air pistol event held in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh. In the national-level shooting championship organized by the Shamli Rifle Club (recognized by the Uttar Pradesh State Rifle Association), the talented shooter brought glory to the state with an impressive performance.
After an intense competition, Ritesh secured the third position in the individual category of this event. It is worth mentioning that Ritesh is the only son of the distinguished writer Manisha Sharma, a resident of Jalukbari.
