The National Yogasana competition under “Khelo India Asmita” is being organized under the sponsorship of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and by the Indraprastha branch of Yogasana Bharat.
Eleven athletes from Assam Yogasana left by train today to participate in this competition, which is held exclusively for women. Abhina Goswami, a member of the national technical department of Yogasana Bharat, has been invited as a judge for this national competition. Additionally, Yogasana Bharat has selected Anil Das of Assam Yogasana as a member of the jury. Both of them started their journey to Delhi today.
The Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports is expected to be present at this prize-money competition to be held in Delhi. This team advanced to the national level after winning the East Zone competition held at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Partha Bhuyan and Manjumala Devi are traveling with the team as managers.
