Indian Army-Supported NIEDO Achieves Outstanding Success in NEET 2026

The Red Shield Division, under the aegis of Spear Corps, continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of underprivileged youth by supporting the National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO), Tinsukia.
NIEDO provides free residential coaching to meritorious students from economically weaker families, preparing them for NEET and enabling them to pursue careers in the medical profession.
The initiative has achieved a remarkable milestone in NEET 2026, with 30 out of 45 students from the Tinsukia centre successfully qualifying the examination, thereby becoming eligible for admission to medical colleges across the country. Among the successful candidates, Mr Roshan Kujur, a resident of Dighaltarrang Tea Estate, Tinsukia, secured an impressive 402 marks in NEET 2026. Having lost his father at a very young age, Roshan faced life’s challenges with remarkable resilience, while his elder brother, who runs a small shop in Tinsukia, became the sole breadwinner of the family. His achievement is a true reflection of grit, sacrifice and perseverance, and stands as an inspiration for countless young aspirants striving to overcome adversity through education. His success reflects the dedication and perseverance of the students, the guidance provided by the faculty and mentors, and the sustained support extended by the Indian Army.
The achievement stands as a testament to the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to education, youth empowerment and nation-building.
