BTC Chief and BPF president Hagrama Mohilary chaired a joint meeting of the BPF-BJP alliance at the BTC Legislative Assembly auditorium on Wednesday to strengthen coordination between the two parties and promote collective efforts for the development of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Senior leaders and workers from both parties attended the meeting, which focused on improving organisational activities, strengthening grassroots outreach and ensuring greater cooperation in development initiatives across the region. Speaking to the media, Mohilary said the alliance would work towards better coordination among party workers and undertake collaborative efforts for the overall development of the BTR while building greater unity at the grassroots level. Later in the day, Mohilary attended a similar meeting with Chirang district BJP mandal leaders and BPF workers at the DC Office in Chirang. Meanwhile, Assam Gramin Bank’s Kokrajhar branch contributed Rs 65,000 to the Chief Relief Fund, BTC, at the BTC Secretariat on Wednesday.
