The Assam swimming team has brought glory to the state by winning a total of two gold, three silver, and three bronze medals at the Asmita Khelo India Women’s Swimming League recently held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Representing the Jorhat Swimming Society, four swimmers and one swimmer from Charaideo managed to secure these medals.
Darshita Baruah (Jorhat): Won 1 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals.
Madhurshya Bora (Jorhat): Won 1 Gold and 1 Silver medal.
Arhi Goswami (Jorhat): Won 1 Bronze medal.
Disha Gogoi (Charaideo): Won 2 Bronze medals.
By achieving success in such a prestigious national competition, these athletes have brought immense pride to the state. The President of the Jorhat Swimming Society, Raktim Saikia, and Secretary Pranjal Baruah have extended their heartfelt congratulations to all the winning swimmers.
