Under the auspices of the Kung Fu Federation of India and in collaboration with the Meghalaya Kung Fu Association, the 10th National Kung Fu Championship recently concluded at the U.S.T.M. University in the Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya.
Over five hundred athletes participated in the competition across sub-junior, junior, and senior categories for both boys and girls. In the competition: Meghalaya emerged as the best team. The Assam Kung Fu Association took second place. The Tripura Kung Fu Association finished in third place.Meanwhile, in the sub-junior, junior, and senior categories, Assam, Manipur, and Meghalaya were respectively named the best teams.
