Vice President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan attended ‘Sanskritik Sandhiya’, a special cultural evening held at Lok Bhavan in Guwahati, celebrating India’s rich cultural diversity and spirit of unity. The event featured vibrant performances highlighting Assam’s traditional music and dance alongside Tamil songs and dance, showcasing the harmonious coexistence of different cultural traditions. The programme reflected the ideals of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ and India’s unity in diversity. Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam Legislative Assembly Speaker Ranjeet Kumar Dass, Leader of the Opposition Wajed Ali Chowdhury, senior officials and other distinguished guests attended the event.
