The Kamrup Metropolitan District Yogasana Sports Competition was successfully concluded at Sabitri Bharali High School in Odalbakra. In the competition, which saw participation from 80 competitors, Rajashree Purkayastha won gold, Daisy Deka won silver, and Darnisha Bharadwaj earned the bronze medal in the Under-10 girls’ traditional category. In the Under-10 boys’ category, Dhritisman Baishya won gold, Mandeep Bhatta won silver, and Trinabh Kashyap secured the bronze medal.
In the sub-junior girls’ traditional category, Sanjna Das won gold, Shreya Sharma won silver, and Ahi Goswami won the bronze medal. Conversely, in the boys’ category, Mayur Mandal won gold, Barnil Pratim won silver, and Jagrad Sharma along with Jadu Das jointly won the bronze medal. In the junior girls’ traditional category, Dhanisha Barman won gold and Hemangi Kalita won silver, while Dhrubapad Bharadwaj secured the gold medal in the boys’ category. Ishika Malakar winning gold in the senior girls’ traditional category, and Rumpa Bora Majumdar winning gold in the senior A traditional category.
On the other hand, in the senior B traditional category, Ajanta Chanda won gold and Rashmi Saikia won the silver medal. In the artistic singles sub-junior category, Sanjna Das won gold, Ashiya Shivam won silver, and Kruti Kakati earned the bronze medal. Conversely, in the artistic singles junior category, Bhavana Boro won gold and Dhanisha Barman secured the silver medal. Tridip Kumar Barman won the gold medal in the artistic singles category. Urbi Tahbildar emerged as the best performer in the girls’ category.
