The Retina Centre (TRC), a premier eye care facility in Guwahati, has bolstered its team by welcoming two prominent eye surgeons: Dr. Anamika Nath and Dr. Pranamee Das. This strategic expansion aims to enhance the center’s capabilities and commitment to delivering world-class ophthalmic care.
Dr. Anamika Nath, a distinguished Vitreo Retina Surgeon, joins TRC with an impressive background, including an MS in Ophthalmology from the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology and a fellowship from ARAVIND Eye Hospital. Known for her collaboration with Dr. S.U. Ahmed, a pioneer in VR surgery in North-East India, Dr. Nath also contributes to community health through the Ramakrishna Mission, offering consultations to underprivileged patients on Sundays. Reflecting on her experience, Dr. Nath noted, “Working with Dr. Ahmed has been transformative, and I am eager to continue learning and growing.”
Dr. Pranamee Das, a Phaco Surgeon with an MS from Assam Medical College, brings her expertise to TRC while organizing eye check-up camps for marginalized communities. Celebrating her three-month milestone, Dr. Das commented, “Being part of TRC has been an invaluable experience, and I look forward to further contributions.” She advocates for a balanced diet, eye care practices, and regular check-ups to maintain eye health.
