Japanese EV manufacturer Terra Motors is rapidly expanding its dealer footprint in India, driven by strong market response to its L5 electric three-wheeler Kyoro+. In a recent development, Jyoti Enterprises, a former sub-dealer of a top EV OEM, has joined Terra Motors as an authorised main dealer, citing limited profitability and scalability with the previous brand.
“Being a sub-dealer offered minimal control and shrinking margins,” said Rakesh Sharma, proprietor of Jyoti Enterprises. “Terra’s transparent and growth-driven approach convinced me to make the switch.” Kyoro+ has become a standout product with its 200 km range, zero down payment financing, and a 5-year warranty — positioning it strongly among fleet operators and small business owners.
Local dealers report increased inquiries, and early adopters highlight its extended range as a key operational advantage. With nationwide dealership inquiries on the rise, Terra Motors aims to build a robust network by offering transparent margins, dealer-first policies, and strong backend support.
