Shillong Cricket Academy recorded an easy victory today in the 11th Annual Sitaram Chauchariya Memorial Under-19 Cricket Tournament. In today’s match of the tournament being held at Maligaon, Shillong Academy defeated Darrang Rhinos by 76 runs.
In the match, which was reduced to 35 overs, Shillong batted first and scored 188 runs for the loss of three wickets, powered by Suraj Chetri’s 71, Gautam Paul’s 60, and Mannan Jurana’s unbeaten 34 runs.
In reply, Darrang Rhinos ended their innings at just 112 runs in 30.2 overs, despite Mubashir Hussain’s 43 runs. For Shillong, Mannan took three wickets, while Rohit Sharma and Abhiraj Joshi claimed two wickets each.
