Samsung has revealed its highly anticipated 2024 lineup of monitors, showcasing cutting-edge technology and innovative features aimed at enhancing user experiences. The new lineup includes the Odyssey OLED gaming monitor, Smart Monitors, and ViewFinity monitors, each designed to cater to different consumer needs. Mr. Puneet Sethi, Vice President of Consumer Electronics Enterprise Business at Samsung India, expressed excitement about the new lineup, stating, “Through the introduction of our 2024 lineup of Odyssey OLED gaming monitor, Viewfinity, and Smart Monitors, we want to unlock better experiences for consumers. Powered by groundbreaking AI Technologies and multi-device experience, the Odyssey OLED gaming monitor and Smart Monitors respectively will redefine visual excellence and creativity.”
The flagship product in the lineup, the Odyssey OLED G6, boasts a 27-inch QHD display with a refresh rate of 360Hz and a response time of 0.03ms GtG, catering specifically to gamers’ needs. What sets it apart is the introduction of Samsung’s OLED Safeguard+ technology, which prevents burn-in by applying a pulsating heat pipe to the monitor. Additionally, features like the Dynamic Cooling System and logo detection further contribute to burn-in prevention. The Smart Monitor M8, powered by AI, offers crystal-clear video and audio experiences, thanks to features like AI upscaling and Active Voice Amplifier Pro. The integration of the NQM AI processor ensures smoother entertainment experiences, while the 360 Audio Mode creates an immersive sound environment when paired with Galaxy Buds.
Meanwhile, the ViewFinity series focuses on maximizing creativity and ease of use, with monitors crafted for creators and professionals. These monitors are built with responsible practices, including the use of recycled materials and eco-friendly packaging. The new lineup will be available for purchase on Samsung’s official online store, as well as other leading retail platforms, starting June 5, 2024.
