Mahindra Truck and Bus Division (MTBD) has expanded its footprint in Assam with the launch of a state-of-the-art dealership in Lakhimpur. The facility, MTBD’s 87th dealership, is equipped with four service bays capable of handling over 10 vehicles daily. It offers comprehensive support, including driver lodging, 24-hour breakdown assistance, and AdBlue, a diesel exhaust fluid designed to reduce emissions.
The division has recorded an impressive 46% CAGR growth over the past three years. Dr. Venkat Srinivas, Business Head – MTBD, attributed this to the brand’s innovative offerings, such as the Mileage Guarantee program for BS6 OBD II trucks, which assures “more mileage or return the truck.” MTBD’s portfolio includes the BLAZO X, FURIO, and CRUZIO ranges, all designed to deliver superior efficiency and profitability for transporters.
Dibrugarh, a critical logistics hub in Assam, is expected to benefit significantly from MTBD’s expansion. With its focus on fuel efficiency, advanced telematics, and robust service guarantees, Mahindra’s vehicles are poised to meet the growing transport needs of Dibrugarh’s thriving tea and industrial markets.
