Copper futures prices inflation on increased spot demand

New Delhi, June 4: Copper futures prices rose 0.56 percent to Rs 879.45 per kg on Wednesday due to increased spot demand.

The price of copper contract for July delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose by Rs 4.90 or 0.56 percent to Rs 879.45 per kg. It saw a turnover of 988 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
