During the event, the public sector bank highlighted its competitive financing options, offering home loans starting at 7 percent interest and vehicle loans at 7.45 percent, both featuring zero processing and account handling charges. Presentations focused on product benefits, customer commitments, eligibility criteria, and comparative advantages over peer institutions, alongside the announcement of bank approval for two residential housing projects, Imperial Regalia and Golden Woods Umang II. Ahead of its 92nd Foundation Day on September 16, 2026, the lender underscored its expanding footprint across the Northeast, where it currently operates 45 branches—including 33 in Assam and nine in Guwahati—complemented by a specialized Housing Finance Branch located in Lokhra to better serve regional retail borrowers.
