Even though Mumbai Indians secured a victory against Punjab Kings yesterday, the team’s batting coach, Kieron Pollard, has faced disciplinary action. 15 percent of his match fee has been docked. Allegations of violating the IPL Code of Conduct have been leveled against the former Caribbean all-rounder. During yesterday’s match between Punjab and Mumbai, allegations of rude behavior with the fourth umpire were made against Pollard. According to the IPL authorities, Pollard was found guilty of violating Level 2.3 of the Code of Conduct. Along with being fined, he has also been given a demerit point. During the hearing, Pollard admitted to his offense before Match Referee Pankaj Dharmani.
