In a thrilling final held today in Guwahati, they defeated Akash FC 2-0 in a penalty shootout to become champions. With this victory, Guwahati City FC has managed to secure the state futsal title for the second time in just three years. By winning this tournament, the team has qualified for the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Club Futsal Championship. The team has once again earned the opportunity to represent Assam at the national level. It is noteworthy that in the 2023-24 season, Guwahati City FC created history as the first club from Assam to participate in the AIFF Futsal Club Championship held in Vadodara, Gujarat.
