The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for home international matches for the 2026–27 season. According to the schedule released from September this year to February 2027, a total of 22 matches will be played across 17 cities in the country. During this period, the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia will tour India. The 22 matches include 9 ODIs, 8 T20Is, and 5 Test matches.
West Indies Tour The season begins on September 27 with the West Indies tour, featuring 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is.
ODI venues: Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, and New Chandigarh.
T20I venues: Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
Sri Lanka Tour Following that series, Sri Lanka will arrive for 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.
ODI venues Delhi, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad.
T20I venues Rajkot, Cuttack, and Pune.
Zimbabwe Tour In January 2027, Zimbabwe will visit for a 3-match ODI series.
Venues: Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.
Border-Gavaskar Trophy (Australia) :The prestigious 5-match Test series against Australia starts on January 21.
Venues: The first Test will be in Nagpur. Subsequent matches will be held in Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi, and Ahmedabad.
Guwahati will host an International One Day International (ODI) in September this year and a Test match in January 2027 at the Barsapara Stadium. This means the third match of the Test series against Australia will be held at Barsapara. This is the second time the Assam Cricket Association has been granted the opportunity to host a Test match. Barsapara made its Test debut with the second match against South Africa from November 22–26 last year.
