Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) expanded its footprint in Northeast India by inaugurating a new dealership, Preet Toyota, in Jorhat. The facility, spanning 26,000 sq. ft., aims to serve the growing urban and regional customer base with comprehensive Sales, Service, and Spares (3S) support. The dealership also features a T Gloss studio for car care solutions and Toyota U-Trust services facilitating used car transactions.
The launch was marked by the presence of Mr. Masaru Shimada, Deputy Managing Director, Toyota India & Middle East, and Mr. Arun G Nair, Vice President & Chief Representative – East Region, among others. Mr. Nair highlighted the Northeast’s potential and Toyota’s commitment to providing reliable and convenient mobility solutions. Which offers Toyota’s full range of vehicles—from the popular Innova Hycross and Fortuner to the luxury Camry Hybrid and Vellfire. The city’s growing market for automobiles is expected to gain from enhanced access to quality vehicles and services.
The presence of Preet Toyota is set to boost local commerce by catering to a mix of urban buyers and nearby rural customers, providing them with trusted vehicle options and superior after-sales care. With this addition, TKM’s pan-India network now totals 1,187 dealerships, underscoring its focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities to deliver seamless mobility experiences across India.
