This is the first time America’s ‘tradition’ broke how?

So far, only citizens of the United States have set foot on the moon. However, this is the first time a non-American is going to step on the moon by the hand of ‘NASA’. US President Joe Biden made this announcement with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida sitting next to him. He said that there will be two Japanese astronauts on NASA’s next lunar mission. One of them will be the first non-American to set foot on the moon.

NASA will send astronauts to the moon by 2026. The work of the ‘Artemis’ campaign is going on in full swing. Japanese Prime Minister Kishida said that Japan will build a complete rover to join NASA’s Artemis mission. That country’s space research agency, JAXA, is NASA’s partner in the Artemis mission. The Japanese spacecraft ‘Slim’ touched the moon’s soil in January. Through this, Japan has been recognized as the fifth country to reach the moon after America, Russia, China, and India.

Neil Armstrong was the first to set foot on the moon. Edwin Aldrin was with him. Both are American. A total of 12 people have set foot on the moon so far, all Americans. China also wants to send astronauts to the moon by 2030.
