This decision by the government will bring a smile to the faces of households. What is this decision? The Center informed us that the subsidy has been extended for another year on LPG cylinders. In other words, in the new financial year 2024–25, common people will get a subsidy of 300 rupees per LPG cylinder.

This subsidy money is directly deposited in the bank accounts of the customers.
This Ujjwala Yojana was valid until March 31, 2024. However, at the beginning of March, the Center’s Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs announced the extension of the scheme for another financial year. That is, from April 1 to March 31, 2025, customers will get subsidies under the Ujjwala Yojana. Incidentally, in October last year, the Center increased the subsidy on 14.2 kg of cylinders from Rs 200 to Rs 300. This subsidy will continue in the new financial year, starting tomorrow.
