Tata Motors Group global wholesales at 3,29,847 in Q1 FY25

Tata Motors Group has reported a robust performance in the first quarter of FY25, with global wholesales reaching 3,29,847 vehicles, marking a 2% increase from the same period last year. During Q1 FY25, Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range saw significant growth, with wholesales totaling 93,410 units, up by 6% year-on-year. However, wholesales of Tata Motors passenger vehicles, including electric variants, slightly dipped to 138,682 units, down 1% compared to Q1 FY24.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), excluding volumes from the China joint venture (CJLR), reported robust performance with 97,755 vehicles sold, a 5% increase year-over-year. Jaguar contributed 8,227 vehicles, while Land Rover led with 89,528 vehicles sold during the quarter.

In Guwahati, a pivotal market for Tata Motors, the company’s diverse portfolio of commercial and passenger vehicles continues to resonate strongly with local consumers. The city’s strategic location and ongoing infrastructure advancements have further strengthened Tata Motors’ market position in Northeast India.
