Tata Motors has launched the Altroz Racer, a dynamic new addition to its premium hatchback lineup. The Altroz Racer stands out with its 1.2 L Turbo Petrol engine, delivering a powerful 120 Ps at 5500 rpm and a torque of 170 Nm from 1750 to 4000 rpm. The vehicle features a 6-speed manual transmission and a sporty exhaust note, promising an exhilarating driving experience.
The Racer variant is the pinnacle of the Altroz range, boasting advanced features such as a 360-degree camera, a 26.03 cm infotainment touchscreen, ventilated seats, and six airbags. It is the only hatchback in its segment offering a 6-speed manual gearbox, enhancing drivability both in city traffic and on highways.
Available in three variants—R1, R2, and R3—the Altroz Racer comes in Pure Grey, Atomic Orange, and Avenue White.Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., expressed excitement about the launch, stating, “The Altroz Racer is engineered to bring excitement to everyday drives. Tata Motors has also introduced two new variants, XZ LUX and XZ+S LUX, and upgraded the XZ+OS variant in the Altroz lineup, further enhancing the choices available to consumers.
