Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) announced that its popular compact SUV, the Nissan Magnite, has surpassed 2,00,000 cumulative sales across domestic and export markets since its 2020 launch. The milestone reflects the success of the company’s ‘One Car, One World’ philosophy and the growing appeal of the Magnite in over 65 countries.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, stated, “This achievement is a proud moment for the entire Nissan India family. We thank our customers for their trust in the Magnite and the Nissan brand.” As part of its strategy to meet evolving customer needs, Nissan introduced a government-approved CNG retrofit kit, priced at ₹74,999, compatible with the 1.0L petrol manual variant of the Magnite. The kit will be installed at authorised centres.
The Magnite continues to see growing demand. Its affordability, stylish design, and now the CNG option make it an attractive choice for both urban and semi-urban customers. Local dealerships report an encouraging response to the new variant. Nissan further announced plans to launch three new vehicles—including a 7-seater B-MPV and two C-segment SUVs—between FY2025 and FY2026 to strengthen its India portfolio.
