In May 2024, Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold 25,273 units, marking a 24% growth

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has reported a strong sales performance for May 2024, achieving a 24% year-on-year growth. The company sold 25,273 units in May 2024, up from 20,410 units in May 2023. Domestic sales reached 23,959 units, complemented by 1,314 units exported. This growth also marks a 23% increase over April 2024’s sales of 20,494 units.

In the first five months of 2024, TKM’s total sales surged by 48%, with 1,22,776 units sold compared to 82,763 units in the same period last year. Commenting on the performance, Mr. Sabari Manohar, Vice President of Sales-Service-Used Car Business at TKM, attributed the success to a customer-centric approach and a diverse product range. “Our unrelenting customer-centric approach has inspired us to stay ahead of the curve by understanding the diverse needs of our customers and offering a diverse array of products and services,” said Manohar.

The launch of the All-New Urban Cruiser Taisor has been a significant driver of this growth. With three engine options—1.0L Turbo, 1.2L Petrol, and E-CNG—the Taisor has received an overwhelming response from customers nationwide. TKM’s strong portfolio, including the Innova Crysta, Fortuner, and Camry Hybrid, continues to fuel its market expansion.
