Chaos unfolded in Dibrugarh as a young woman, reportedly intoxicated, went on a reckless driving spree, injuring several individuals and damaging numerous vehicles on PN Road.
The incident occurred when the woman, behind the wheel of a Hyundai I20 with the license plate AS19E4127, collided with multiple vehicles and pedestrians along the busy thoroughfare. Eyewitnesses reported that she continued her erratic drive, heading dangerously towards the under-construction flyover at Thana Chari Ali.
The rampage came to a violent halt when her vehicle crashed into a pottery shop located beneath the flyover, resulting in severe injuries to three workers inside. The injured were quickly transported to the hospital, where they are reported to be in critical condition.
Locals, including several women, gathered at the scene to confront the driver, expressing their outrage and concern. Police arrived shortly thereafter to manage the escalating situation, successfully bringing it under control and apprehending the woman.
