Global experts to explore India’s flagship skilling platform SIDH

The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO), World Bank, and UNESCO, is set to host a webinar on the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) on July 4. Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), MSDE, will address the event, which will see participation from approximately 120 countries and around 3,000 registered attendees.

The AI-powered Skill India Digital Hub webinar aims to highlight the importance of digital infrastructure, work-based learning models, and industry-academia collaboration in enhancing the Skills and Lifelong Learning ecosystem. Key speakers include Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, MSDE; Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO and MD, NSDC International; Dr. Haja Ramatulai Wurie, Minister of Technical and Higher Education, Sierra Leone; and Shri Ruben Sargsyan, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, America.The discussion will emphasize the transformative role of technology in skill development, leveraging Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to engage learners and close the skill gap. The webinar aims to promote innovative digital solutions that help youth navigate skill centers and access employability and industry-ready skilling courses.
