Congress criticizes government on failing to detect ULFA-I bombs in the state

Ulfa-I cadre have planted bombs in multiple places of Assam during Independence Day. Since then police have started investigation of the bombs across the state.

Clueless about the bombs placement, police have now decided to seek help from the public. Assam Police sharing Whatsapp no. and details have announced to reward rupees 5 lakhs those providing information about those who made the bombs, helped in transportion and planting the bombs.

Following opposition, a Congress leader has criticized the government on failure of the system, he said, “This also proved CM Sarma wrong about his frequent claims that insurgency has been solved with the signing of several agreements since 2021 when he assumed the charge of the Chief MInister.”
