Byatikram MASDO’s ‘Medical Tourism Conclave’ became a beacon of hope and compassion on Sunday, April 21st, as it unfolded a tapestry of human stories and societal impact at the Dhaka Club. Beyond the clinical confines of hospitals, this gathering illuminated the profound impact of healthcare collaboration between Eastern India and Bangladesh, forging bonds of empathy and transforming lives.
The conclave saw the esteemed presence of Md. Major (Retd) Shamsul Arefin, Chairman of the Bangladesh Foundation for Regional Studies and Coordinator of Friends of Bangladesh, underscored the importance of continued cooperation between Bangladesh and India, particularly in the health sector, for the holistic well-being of their people. He expressed optimism that the conclave would serve as a catalyst in fostering such collaboration.
Dr. Mamun Al Mahtab, Head of the Interventional Hepatology Division at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Medical University, urged patients from India to seek advanced medical care in Bangladesh, citing the country’s poised healthcare sector development.
