Rani Residents Extend Helping Hand to Flood-Affected Families in Sivasagar

In a inspiring display of humanity and solidarity, residents of the greater Rani area in Kamrup district have extended crucial support to economically vulnerable families recovering from the devastating July 19 floods. Representing the collective effort of their community, a five-member delegation comprising social workers Babul Rabha, Robin Daimari, Dipak Boro, Monoranjan Das Boro, and Ranjit Boro traveled to Betbari in Sivasagar district to distribute relief materials. Working in close collaboration with local Sivasagar social workers Ghana Gogoi and Rupraj Boruah, the team delivered modest financial assistance, clothing, and essential supplies directly to some of the hardest-hit households. Highlighting the initiative’s impact, Ghana Gogoi noted that while the scale of the relief was modest, the compassionate outreach provided vital comfort and practical aid to families struggling to rebuild their lives following the disaster.
