The Byatikram Group successfully organised a prestigious literary and cultural event in Guwahati on April 23, marking the launch of five books authored by eminent writer Dr. Seema Kashyap. The event brought together distinguished personalities from literature, academia, journalism and the entertainment industry, reinforcing the group’s commitment to promoting literary excellence and cultural engagement in the region.
The books unveiled during the ceremony included “Shunya Theke Shikhare” (Bengali translation), “Rosona Samaghra”, “Zubeen Garg: Ek Aastito” (Hindi translation), “Ami Zubeen Bolchi” (Bengali translation), and “30 Dinot Xoloni Korok Apunar Jibon”. The publications focus on themes of resilience, self-discovery, emotional depth and personal growth.
The event was attended by noted personalities including Manisha Hazarika, Surjya Kanta Hazarika, former Assam University Vice Chancellor Dilip Nath, Pragjyotishpur University Vice Chancellor Smriti Kumar Sinha, actor Kopil Bora, actress Nishita Goswami and representatives from Assam Sahitya Sabha.
During the event, speakers highlighted the growing importance of inspirational literature in fostering intellectual and social development. Dr. Kashyap stated that her works were aimed at inspiring readers, particularly the youth, to embrace creativity, perseverance and self-belief.
