Maruti Suzuki Leads Nov Car Sales!

Post-festive season demand remained strong in November, driving robust sales growth for leading automakers, including Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, and Mahindra & Mahindra, compared to the same month last year.

Maruti Suzuki India recorded its highest-ever total sales, including exports, at 2,29,021 units, a 26% year-on-year increase. Domestic passenger vehicle dispatches rose 21% to 1,70,971 units, while overall domestic sales, including LCV Super Carry, reached 1,74,593 units—the highest November performance in 40 years. Retail sales surged 31%, with small cars seeing a 37% jump. SUV sales now account for 30% of total volumes. Factory stock was limited at 80,000 units, with 1.5 lakh pending bookings. Exports reached a record 46,057 units, up 61%.

Tata Motors dispatched 57,436 units (+22%), while Mahindra & Mahindra recorded 56,336 units (+22%). Hyundai sold 50,340 units (+4%), Toyota Kirloskar Motor 33,752 units (+28%), and Kia India 25,489 units (+24%). Renault India’s sales grew 30% to 3,662 units.

In two-wheelers, Honda sold 5,91,136 units (+25%), Royal Enfield 1,00,670 units (+22%), while Bajaj Auto reported a slight 1% decline to 2,02,510 units.
